Vicki Shealy Brantley
Obituary
Our dear mother, Vicki Shealy Brantley, sadly passed away on August 24th, at the age of 73 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was the daughter of the late Derrell D. Shealy and Alliene Boland Shealy and was born and raised in West Columbia, SC. Vicki graduated from Brookland Cayce High School and studied Art at the University of South Carolina.
Surviving are her son, Jason Brantley of Blythewood, SC; her daughter Barrett Myers (David) of Blythewood, SC; her grand-daughter Madison Myers; her longtime partner in crime and caregiver Rusty Moyers of Columbia, SC and her sweet dog Bella.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She always made us feel loved, in fact the last words she ever spoke to us was "I love you." She wasn't just an amazing mother, but she was an incredible person with a big heart. We owe our successes in life in large part to her, and what she taught us. Our beautiful Mom loved being a Gla-ma to Madison. She also loved to spend time with her friends while shag dancing at the beach. She loved a good cocktail, a dirty joke and her South Carolina Gamecocks.
