Vernie Louise (Leviner) Elliott was born to the late Troy and Beulah Leviner in Bennettsville, S.C. on July 22, 1933. She lived a full life of Love and Service to others. The love she showed to others is embodied in the lives she has touched throughout her 90 years.
She was loved by many of her work family of 30 years, Order of Eastern Star, Amaranth brothers and sisters, her church family at Harmony Baptist Church as well as all of her Rainbow girls that she spent decades loving and supporting young impressionable girls in the way of love and service to others.
All those who knew her were treated as family. She had a gift as an AMAZING cook and baker. Everyone probably has a favorite she made so that would be hard to list. The truly blessed ones were her loving family. The love she gave all of us will always live on.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Floyd, son Bill, grandson Michael Elliott, sisters Effie, Odessa, Mary, Leatha Mae, David and nephew Edward.
Those who are here to cherish her memory are her children Fred Elliott (April), Carol Boyd, grandchildren Jessica Myers (John), Alex Elliott, great grandsons Kody and Kasey Myers as well as a number of cherished nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday November 4, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Donations and Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, The Order of The Eastern Star or they can be made directly to the Funeral home.
