Troddy Earl Sullivan Obituary

Troddy Earl Sullivan, 62, of Gaston, South Carolina, entered eternal rest at home on February 13th, 2024. During the unexpected event, he was with his wife, Kackhai Gail Panthavong, and his son, Jason Willis. Troddy was born in Columbia, South Carolina, to Otis Gordon Sullivan Jr. and Betty Jean Alewine. He graduated from Airport High School and went to work at M. Lowenstein Mills in Olympia. He soon married and had two children whom he loved very much.

Troddy worked in the textile industry and was a founding partner of Hi-Tech Specialty Fabrics. After retirement, he enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and shooting. He especially enjoyed turkey and match shooting with his best friend, Ronnie Sharpe. Troddy was a man of few words but a good friend to everyone who knew him. He enjoyed traveling with Gail to the mountains and spending time with family. He will be remembered for his easygoing manner and clever sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Gail, and her two sons; his children, Jason Willis and Jessica Williams; their mother, Katherine Pelletier; brothers, Gordon Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan (Thiphakhinh); sister, Stacy Taylor (Glenn); his grandchildren, Wesley Willis, Kyler Williams, Samantha Williams, and Gavin Williams; his nieces Lily Taylor and Abigail Taylor; and his nephews, Phelan Sullivan and London Elliott. He is predeceased by his parents; his step-daughter, Jennifer Willis; his son-in-law, Patrick Williams; and his beloved aunt Mary Kinney and uncles Edgar Alewine and Steve Alewine.

The family will receive visitors Monday, February 19th, 2024, from 2-4 PM at Moseley Funeral Home (914 Meeting St., West Columbia, SC 29169).
