Paul Busby

Paul Duggan Busby, 68, of Hopkins passed away Wednesday November 15, 2023. He was born January 18,1955 and was the son of the late Paul Monroe Busby and Vivian Polly Busby. He attended Lower Richland High School and went on to become a multi-talented fabricator and BusyBee.

Dugg had a love for his dogs, fishing, boating, classic cars, rock music and NASCAR. He was a country boy at heart. Living a life of a hippie he would often sit with friends and family and shoot the breeze until the sun went down and the cows went home.

Dugg is survived by his brother Leroy Beau Busby and sister Pamela Green (Tim) along with several long time friends. To whom he was grateful to have stood by him through his trials and tribulations.

Dugg's favorite place was the Santee Swamp where he will be set free like the dust in the wind.

In lieu of flowers, remember to take time to go fishing, sit by a fire pit, watch the sun go down and don't let life pass you by. Enjoy the small things!
