He was a big gamecock fan. He loved reading his Bible at night and doing word search puzzles. He loved classic cars and music. He had a talent for remembering silly songs from his childhood and singing them to make you laugh. He could hear a song and could tell you what year it came out, what he was doing and where he was at the time. He was a bus driver for 25 years for Continental Trailways and he loved every second of it. He traveled to many places and could tell you a story. After retiring as a bus driver, he took a job for Palmetto Infusion delivering medical supplies to homebound patients, which was another job he truly enjoyed. He always had a smile. He loved Jesus and his family. He was a loyal loving caring husband father grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held Saturday January 8th, 2022 at Moseley Funeral Home in West Columbia. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm. Memorials can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church. (2491 Emanuel Church Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170)
