Mary “Kathy” Martin

Kathy "Nana" Martin joined her Lord and Savior June 14, 2022.  Born and raised in Columbia, SC to Mary and Colie Martin, Kathy was one of three children. Kathy worked outside of the home for many years for the State of South Carolina; however her greatest passion in life were her 2 children and 5 grandchildren.  Kathy, better known as Nana, was the most supportive, loving mother and grandmother that has graced this earth.  She was selfless, grateful, and kind. 
An avid Clemson fan, Kathy looked forward to football season and family gatherings.  She was an outstanding cook, a lover of animals, and a great friend.  She had a strong faith that carried her through the rougher patches in life.  She instilled the values in her family that will carry her legacy on for years to come.  
She is survived by her daughter Mary Kyzer (Toby); son Mike Moss (Brooke); grandchildren Katie, Bryson, Emily, Cole, and Tyler;. brother Ken Martin (Cindy); best friends Debbie Mote and Debby Owens; her puppy Max and her nieces, great nieces great nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. 
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 Friday, June 17th at Springdale Baptist Church.  Family will receive friends prior to service from 1-2.  Memorials can be made to Springdale Baptist Church or your charity of choice to honor Kathy's memory.
