Marian Grice

West Columbia, SC - Ms. Marian Lee Grice, 64, passed away peacefully in her sleep on
September 23, 2023. Ms. Grice was the daughter of the late Voncille Collins Manger and the late
M. L. Blake. She is survived by daughter Cassie (Hampton) Taylor and son David (Hannah) Grice. grandson Grice Taylor, and granddaughters McKinsey and Brooklyn Grice. Ms. Grice is also survived by her loving sisters, Debra (Tina) Blake, Brenda (Stanley) Brown, Sherry (Mark)
Ferring and Cheryl Sampson, and stepfather Botsford (Bob) Manger.
Ms. Grice was a devoted mother to her now adult children and never missed an event. From
attending baseball, basketball and softball games, cheerleading and pageants; she was always
present. She had a creative mind and loved making pottery and ceramic items. She expanded her
hobby and opened a business in the 1990's called, "The Clay Pit", in Lexington, SC. She had a
love for gardening and dogs, in particular dachshunds.
The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of The Heritage at Lowman in Chapin for the
care they provided to Ms. Grice.
No services are planned. Memorials may be made to The Heartworm Project, in memory of Ms.
Grice and her beloved dachshund, Bentley.
