Linda Sease

Linda Kelly Sease, 61, of Lexington passed away Wednesday November 15, 2023. She was born July 14, 1962 and was the daughter of the late John and Betty Kelly. Linda was the widow of the late Wyman Sease. Her two daughters and grandchildren were the lights of her life. She attended Gilbert High school, then worked at Lexington County for many years.  She was a member of New Day Church of God where she loved attending.

She had many friends and loved them so very deeply.  She enjoyed traveling, shopping and going to eat at her favorite restaurants. If anyone at any time needed help, she would lend a hand whenever she could. Linda had an independent spirit, was outgoing and strong willed.  She exhibited spunky candor and often danced to the beat of her own drum, but with a kind and loving soul. When she became unable to drive, she would talk anyone she could into getting out to go for a ride as she hated being bound to the house.

Linda is survived by children, Ashley Hatcher (Patrick) and Jacquelyn Adams (Austin); grandchildren, Landon Hatcher, Kaylee Hatcher, Madison Gunter, Nicholas Gunter, Madelynn Gunter, Emma Gunter, Noah Gunter, Jaxon Branham, Olivia Davis, Sullivan Crider and Emori Crider; siblings, Lesa Autrey (Randy), James Kelly (Peggy), Barbara Kelly (Mark), Carolyn Smith (Luther) and Joyce Trotter (Ron). She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Kelly and Harley Nettles.

Visitation will be held at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service in West Columbia from 3-5pm on Sunday, 11/19.  Graveside service will be at 11am on Monday, 11/20 at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Gilbert.

Pallbearers for the service include Landon Hatcher, Brandon Smith, Matthew Smith, Luther Smith, Michael Kelly and John Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
