Obituary
Lessie “PeeWee” Chavis Davis gainEd her wings to be with our Heavenly Father on March 5, 2023. she was born in Columbia SC one of four children of John Westley and Lizzie Chavis. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and Friend to all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Surviving and her spouse Marvin “Bill” Davis; children: Al (Rose) Chavious, Rainey (Harry) Johnson, Daphney “Nokey” Davis , Sandy (Steve) Powell, Elizabeth “Liz” skinner , Dorothy “Lucky” Thompson and Jessica Spires, as well as dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She preceded in death by her two children, Lloyd Koon and Betty “Tiny” Koon.
A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Gibson Cemetery’.
