Jody Andes, 53, passed away April 4th at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia SC surround by family. Jody passed away unexpectedly due to complications following a freak accident on December 27, 2022.
Jody was born on October 17, 1969 in Spring Valley, IL to John (Joyce) Andes and Madeline and the late Arlan McLaughlin.
Jody attended Mendota High School and graduated from Hall High School. Jody settled in Pelion, South Carolina. He was a Traveling On-Site Superintendent for MRS Construction.
Jody was an amazing man filled with love and genuinely caring. Family was everything to him. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was always willing to help others. He was hardworking and went above and beyond for his crews. He worked hard and he played hard. He was always joking and could always make you laugh with his quick wit, and put you in the best of moods.
The last gift he gave was life. Despite his injuries, he was able to save several lives by donating all he had left to give.
Jody leaves behind many to cherish loving memories of him. He is survived by his parents, his life partner Angie, daughter Jessica (Jarrod), son Johnathon (Paige) and stepsons Josh and Justin, grandchildren Abby, Mikey and Arlan. He also survived by his sister Julie (Eric) Kisellus two brothers John (Debbie) Jim(Tina) Andes and stepsiblings Libby (Jim Ambler), Joy (Jeff) Sterling, Vickie (Ron) Chiesi, Jimmy (Theresa) Klein. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends who called him brother.
He is proceeded by his stepfather, Arlan his maternal and paternal grandparents and one nephew in infancy.
