With profound sadness, we announce the passing of George Edward Crim, who left us peacefully on March 10, 2024. Born on October 11, 1944, George's life was a tapestry of deep connections, vibrant passions, and enduring achievements.
George's life was marked by the love he had for his family and the joy he found in the simplicity of life's pleasures. A hardworking man, he cherished moments spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Claude J Crim Sr, mother Sara S Crim, brother Claude J Crim Jr, brother Vandy L Crim, sister in law Dorothy Crim, brother in law Harold Vinson.
George is survived by his wife Angie Crim of the home, brother Clarence Crim ( wife Joyce ), sister Rita Vinson, daughter Terry Crim Hunt and (husband (Paul), son, Eddie Crim (wife Tammy),stepson Stephen Clark and (wife Nikki) and took great pride in guiding and observing the blossoming paths of his grandchildren, Blake, Cody, MacKenzie, Grayson, Riley, and Morgan. Great grandchildren Jack, and Hudson, and many other family members.
George spent his working life laying flooring if you needed a new floor he was your man. George was a man of impact, both in his personal life and through his kind contributions to the world. His humble beginnings never overshadowed his generosity, often evidenced by his discreet kindnesses, leaving a lasting impression on those around him.
He was an avid Waffle House customer he spent many of his days there.
His dedication to his loved ones was as unwavering as his passion for drag racing, a hobby that brought him excitement and a community of friends in Columbia, SC.
George's legacy is carried on through his wife, children, grandchildren, and the countless lives he touched. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet we are comforted by memories filled with his warm presence.
