Derry Chadwick Grant

Derry Chadwick Grant, 81, of Blythewood, South Carolina passed away on September 29, 2023.  She was born in Phenix City, Alabama on September 17, 1942.  She was the daughter of the late Minzor Z. Chadwick and Sarah I. Chadwick and a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church. Derry was predeceased by her husband, John A. Grant, her brother Ronald A. Chadwick and sisters, Greta D. Rector and Sarah “Ree” Bullock.  She is survived by her daughter Felicia G. Poston, grandson J. Grant Poston, granddaughter Jaimie P. Morris (Ryan), and great grandson Lawson J. Morris. She is also survived by her brother Minzor W. Chadwick and numerous nieces and nephews. Derry was known for her sweet smile and cheerful attitude about life. She had a passion for scrapbooking, collecting family memories through photos, and she loved thecolor pink. She enjoyed playing Sequence with her “Sequence Sisters” and attending various church related activities. More than anything, she adored her family and cherished every moment she spent with them. Visitation will be at Northeast Presbyterian Church in the atrium at 2:00 pm Friday and will be followed by a service in the Sanctuary at 3:00 pm.
