Dale Lee Dasher Obituary

Celebration of Life Service for Dale Lee Dasher, 64, of Swansea, SC, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Swansea First Baptist Church.  Visitation with the family prior to service from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Please dress casual.  Dale wasn’t a suit and tie kind of man so please come dressed comfortably.

Dale received his ultimate healing and heavenly body on January 5, 2024.  He fought the good fight and finished his race.

Dale was born August 2, 1959 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was a 1979 graduate of Swansea High School.  He worked at Nassau Recycling for 13 years and then owned his own floor business for the past 31 years.

He was a devoted husband for over 40 years.  He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  His family called him “Nandy”.  He enjoyed nothing in this world more than spending time with his family.  He had a passion and talent for working on cars.  Being outside, working in the yard, cutting the grass and tinkering in the garage was how he spent his free time.  Dale was a friend to everyone.  He had a big heart, he never met a stranger and he didn’t have an enemy in this world.

Dale is survived by his mother Betty Dasher, his wife Janet Dasher, two daughters Alisha (Darrell) Knight, Janis (Brett) Gable, five grandchildren Nathan (Heather) Jinkins, Jordan Knight, Makenna (Ronald)Jinkins, Hannah and Joshua Knight and 4 greatgrandchildren Carson, Bryson, Kinsley and Carter, brother Ronnie (Lisa) Dasher, seven nieces and nephews Tommy May, Jr., Mikey (Lisa) May, Bryan (Ginger) Gary, Betty May, Kellie and Tyler Dasher and Melissa Ritchie, brother in laws Darnell Gary and Tommy May, Sr. and his 17 year old cat, Molly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Dasher, father and mother in law A.E. “Shorty” and Betty Belliveau and sister in laws Linda Gary and Donna May.

Dale is going to be great missed by everyone who knew him.
