Bruce Hoverman Obituary

Bruce James Hoverman passed away Monday November 20, 2023 in Columbia SC surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 15, 1946 in El Paso Texas, Bruce leaves behind his loving companion Louise Rehwinkle, brothers Steve and Bryce Hoverman and many loving nieces and nephews. Bruce was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star while serving his country in the Army from September 1969 to September 1971, including a tour in Vietnam. He owned his own company Designs and Construction and loved being a contractor. He enjoyed expanding his horizons both physically by traveling and mentally through his love of learning. He volunteered and provided charity work both at home and abroad. He is loved and will be missed by many.

A viewing will be held Sunday November 26, 2023 from 5:00-6:30pm at Moseley Funeral home, 914 Meeting Street, West Columbia SC. His internment will take place 10:00am Monday November 27, 2023 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia SC.
