William R. Taylor

A service to celebrate the life of William R. Taylor, 86, of Lexington will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday May 31, 2017 in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service with Dr. Mark Bredholt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Celestial Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Mr. Taylor widower of Wanda Lee Taylor passed away Saturday May 27, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born in Columbia and was the son of the late Samuel and Willie Estelle Taylor. Mr. Taylor was US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed time spending time with family on the holidays and was an avid fisherman and gardener. Mr Taylor was a retired Carpenter.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his children, Theresa ( Ronnie) Justice, Connie Graham, Debra ( Ron) Long and William R. Taylor, Jr.; grandchildren, Terri, Tina, Charlie, Kevin and Jim; great grandchildren, Clayton, Reese, Austin, Madison, Emmitt and Hank; sister, Johnnie Mae Coates and special cousin, Betty Dinkins.
