William Jerry Benson, Sr.

William Jerry Benson, 85, of West Columbia, went home to his heavenly father March 8, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert L. and Ruth Montgomery Benson, brothers, Herbert and James Benson and beloved sister, Mary Benson Brown. Mr. Benson is survived by his sons, William Jerry Benson, Jr. and George L. Benson; daughters, Kathryn Joyner and Melinda Clark and a very special nephew, Eldridge (Bucky) Brown. A memorial celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
