A gathering of family and friends for Willard H. Pevey, of West Columbia, will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service in West Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SCPCA or Columbia Humane Society.
Mr. Pevey passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the age of 74. Born on April 1, 1940, in Charleston County, SC, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Hazel Pevey. He enjoyed his four-legged friends, and liked to fix things and tinker around the house.
Willard is survived by his daughters, Patti Thacker and Diana Pevey; grandson, Scott Thacker; great-grandchildren, Hailey Thacker and Philip Thacker, III; sisters, Nancy (James) Grooms and Nell (Clyde) Bedenbaugh; caregiver, Bill Joyce.
