Wilbur N. Sightler

A service to celebrate the life of Wilbur Norris Sightler of Gaston will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at Gaston First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2 PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery Memorial donations may be made to the church. Mr. Sightler passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born in Gaston South Carolina and was the son of the late Wigfall and Virginia Sharpe Sightler. Mr. Sightler  was a member of Gaston First  Baptist Church and enjoyed family, working on cars and tractors. Mr. Sightler is survived by his wife, Kate Kelly Sightler; children Gloria Sightler, Randy Sightler and Dean Sightler; stepchildren Kathy (Rocky) Tanner and Deborah Galloway; 10 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; siblings Alice Gunter; Betty Sharpe, Marvin Sightler, Elaine Glover,  Wayne Sightler and Willard Sightler.
