A graveside service to celebrate the life of Wesley Thomas Bachman, 94, of Lexington will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday February 3 , 2021 at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gene Henderson officiating. Please note that due to Covid 19 concer ns, masks and social distancing will be appreciated to maintain a safe environment for all.  The service will be live streamed via the FB page for Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church or maybe viewed by visiting his tribute page at www.moseleyfuneralservice.com

Mr. Bachman passed away Saturday January 30 , 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in W est Columbia and was the son of the late Richard Tillman and Levela Shumpert Bachman. Mr. Bachman is survived by his loving children, Kay Ann (Wilmot) Smith, Bonnie Bachman Driggers (James) Atwood and Steven Wesley (Georgetta) Bachman; grandchildren, Charles Wesley “Westy” Smith, Dena Drigg e rs (Buddy) Mixon, Jessica Bachman (Scottie) Lastinger, Michelle Bachman (Scott) Sturkie and Co l ton Wesley (Melissa) Bachman.  His great grandchildren are Drew, Jack, Ava, Ethan, Seth, Hudson and Beaux. His extended grands and great grands are Edwin, Renea, KJ, Ariel, Taylor, Londyn , Chase , Bryan, Kim, Nate, C ady, Madi, Willow , Lilly, Drake and Lucas. His cousins, in laws, nieces and nephews are too many to name but he loved them all. He is predeceased in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Goff Bachman, two sons: Donnie Wesley Bachman and Michael Tillman Bachman, and his sister, Vertie Mae Bachman Shirey.

Mr. Bachman retired from Olympia Mills and Lexington School District O ne. He was an avid gardener, a wonderful story teller, a joke teller, prankster and friend to so many people who crossed his path.  He loved to talk and to make people laugh. He was a very compassionate man and was faithful to visit friends and loved ones who were shut-in at home or in nursing homes or attend funeral services.  He loved people and people loved him.

Due to Covid 19 concerns, we will not have a formal visitation time.  Everyone is welcome to stop by Moseley Funeral Home at your convenience to sign the register and say your Goodbyes to Mr. Wesley Bachman on Tuesday, February 2 from 12:00-5:00 PM or on Wednesday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2290 Heath Pond Road, Elgin, SC 29045.
