Wayne Harold Williamson

Wayne Harold Williamson, 72, went home to be with the Lord, April 16th, 2022. Born in Canton, Mississippi,  son of the late John David Williamson and Lila Warrene McElroroy. He was survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Williamson, and Children Jennifer Truel (Darren), Stephen Williamson (Jennifer), Jeannette Bailey (Mickey), Rebecca (Pumpkin) Kelly (Terry); 24 Grandchildren & 26 Great Grandchildren.

Wayne was a Faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Saved at the age of 11 and served faithfully as a deacon for 46 years. He was an amazing husband and father, known as "Papaw" to many and a friend to all. His life was a testimony of the Grace of God and the difference one man can make! He will be greatly missed by our family and church.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 300 Alliance Rd. Lexington, SC 29073. A funeral service will be held at 12pm. Entombment will be immediately following in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 5400 Bush River Rd. Columbia, SC 29212. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gethsemane Baptist Church missions fund.
