Wanda A. Cook

The wake and memorial service for Wanda Cook, of Gaston, SC will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Florence Baptist Church in Pelion, SC. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:30. The memorial service will follow at 2.

Wanda passed away on Monday, Septem ber 2, 2019, at the age of 49. Born in Bronx, New York on June 8, 1970 she was daughter of Warren Jacobs and the late Anne Kelley Anderson . Wanda was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Desert Storm. After completing her service to her country she worked hard in inventory to support her and her daughter.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Jaliya h S. Cook. Jaliyah describes her mother as “my world,” very independent, easy to laugh, loyal, a strong fighter, and her role model. Wanda is loved and will be greatly missed my many, but most by her baby girl.
