Mrs. Tina Hartzog Henry, 91, of The Heritage at Lowman in White Rock, S.C. entered into her eternal heavenly home on May 19, 2015. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Her faith in God was the anchor of her life.
She was born in Bishopville, S.C. on July 21, 1923 to the late David and Floy Strother and was predeceased by five siblings and one granddaughter. Surviving are her husband Charles Henry, one daughter, Harriett Hartzog Sadler of Irmo, S.C., two stepsons, Bob Hartzog of Lexington, S.C. and Hal Hartzog of Columbia, S.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was blessed with five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her family was the joy of her life, as well as many friends from her church family at Cayce United Methodist Church, and her Hardee’s friends. She loved everyone, always greeting them with a smile and a kind word.
Our family expresses our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all the staff at The Heritage at Lowman where she resided since a stroke in August, 2014. The love and excellent care given to her was such a blessing.
