A service to celebrate the life of Timothy Oliver Jackson, 66, of West Columbia will be held at 11:00 am Friday July 22, 2016 at Brookland United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 107 Westpark Blvd. Suite 220, Columbia SC 29210 .
Mr. Jackson passed away Tuesday July 19, 2016. He was born in Columbia and was the son of the late Rollin Timothy and Alice Jackson. Mr. Jackson retired from Westinghouse Electric Co., Nuclear Fuel Division after 44 years of service. He was an all around tinker and handyman, a jack of all trades. Mr. Jackson was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed volunteering at Mountain Findings in Highlands, NC. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a loyal friend to all who knew him.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Suzanne Foley Jackson; daughter, Wendy (Bruce) Hill; his beloved twin granddaughters,Emma and Grace Hill; siblings, Bonnie Jackson, Thomas (Terry) Jackson, Anthony "Tony" (Angie) Jackson and Judy Jackson; nieces, Lyndsay Cochran, Lauren Caldwell, Morgan Kanwisher and Suzy Watts; great niece, Caroline Watts and great nephew, Roman Caldwell; Sister in law, Kathy Foley and brother in law and best friend, Edward " Skip" Foley and four legged friend, Skye.
