Terry Marie Steadman Covell

Terry Marie Steadman Covell passed away on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023. She was born on December 28th, 1972 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Bryson Steadman, Jr. and the late Vinnie Marie Price Steadman.

Terry worked in after school programs. She was a substitute teacher, and she had worked in childcare since she was a young girl. She also had training as a veterinarian, where she and her husband, Drew, adopted animals with special needs. Terry had started the very first brain injury support group ever in Manchester, Connecticut due to her husband being a brain injury survivor himself. She saw the need and she went for it. She also loved crafts like making and selling bath soaps and bath salts. Terry just loved nature and enjoyed life.

Terry was a loving wife to her husband, Andrew John Covell of Connecticut, for 22 years. She was his best friend and soulmate. There were no children, but she was blessed with all her school children, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Terry is survived by her husband, Andrew (Drew) John Covell; her sisters, Debora Sloan of Lexington and Jessica Somogyi of Lexington; and her brothers, Thomas B. Steadman III of Lexington and David Steadman of Lexington.

In addition to her parents, Terry is predeceased by her sister, Wanda Steadman Chavis, and her brother, Billy J. Steadman, Sr.
