Terry "Frog" Harold Smith

A service to celebrate the life of Terry Harold Smith, 63, will be held at Redemption Columbia on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Larry Shaw officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Smith died Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born in Columbia, South Carolina he is survived by his wife, Marjie Smith, daughter, Leah and 3 grandchildren, Haylinn Whitesel, Kylee Whitesel and Ashlyn Oakley; Sister, Cindy Smith Bailey (Ronny) of Sandy Run, brother, Barry Stewart Smith (Bernadette) of St. Petersburg, Florida; Mother, Laura Harris Smith of West Columbia and he was predeceased by his father, Frank Harold Smith.

Terry was a proud graduate of Airport High School class of 1973. He was the owner and operator of Terry Smith Auto and Body Shop for many years. He was a member of Life Springs Worship Center (Redemption Columbia) in West Columbia. He enjoyed cooking, working on automobiles and gardening for many years. He cherished the time spent with his youngest granddaughter, Ashlyn.

The family would like to thank Fast-Trac Ambulance service and a special thanks to Mary Dimgba and Art James for their care and compassion for Terry on his many trips to and from dialysis. Also, Dr. Norton of Lexington Medical Center and a special thanks to his friend Dr. Allan Hicks for his care, support and friendship for many years.

In lieu of flowers,  memorials can be made to the FCA, White Knoll High School, 5643 Platt Springs Road, Lexington, SC 29073 .
