She was born on October 31, 1943, in Wagener, South Carolina to the late Erthel Yon and Heyward Yon. Stella is survived by her sons, Scott, Shannon, Chance, Skeet (Aimee); her grandchildren, Gary Crouch, Kara Thompson, Garrett Crouch, James and Ben Crouch; and great-granddaughter, Journey Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Scott Roger Crouch, Jr.
