In Loving Memory of Shelia LaBombard Causey
Shelia LaBombard Causey, born February 15, 1961, passed away on June 29, 2025, after a courageous, years-long battle with COPD.
Shelia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joys in life were her family and spending time at the beach. She brought warmth, laughter, and energy wherever she went, lighting up every room with her vibrant spirit and love for others.
She is lovingly remembered by her five children:
Brandi (Billy) – children: Eric, Faith, and Joselin; three great-grandchildren
Miranda – children: Brent, Ethan, Hunter, and Payton; one great-grandchild
“Bubba” – children: Madison, Megan, Morgan, Jacob, and McKinley; one great-grandchild
Kelly – children: Kaylee, Amarie, Tamya, and Ashlynn
Billy (Candy) – children: Dayton, Alyssa, and Ember
Shelia is also survived by her sister, Debbie Jones, and her husband, Steve Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert LaBombard and Elbert Causey; her siblings, Susan and Forest “Henry”; and her parents, Forest and Lucile Hendrix.
Shelia will be remembered for her warm heart, fierce devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her love and memory will live on through the many lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on June 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Moseley Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on July 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Faith Church of the Nazarene, 1031 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, to celebrate Shelia’s life and share memories.
