Sara T Hancock

A memorial service for Sara Thacker Hancock will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service in West Columbia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SisterCare, PO Box 1029, Columbia, SC 29202.

Ms. Hancock passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the age of 51. Born in Columbus, OH on March 26, 1963, she was the daughter of Donald and Ruth Thacker. She was a member of New Springs Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Brandy and Jessica Hancock, and her parents; grandchildren, Austin, Carsyn and Nolan Harris; sister Molly Thacker McGuire and brother, Phillip Scott Thacker; and her pet guinea pig, Chewi. The family would like to give a special thank you to Sandra, Debra, Denise, Mark and Stacey.
