Robert Patrick Dennis-Leigh passed away peacefully on Saturday August 12. Born in New Jersey, on August 20, 1933, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Carmen Luz Dennis-Leigh on Thursday, June 8, 2017 after 45 years of marriage. Bob served in the Air Force in military intelligence and later became a NASA engineer. He excelled in launching numerous business ventures all over the world including China, Saudi Arabia, Central America and Turkey. His interests included racing vintage sports cars, piloting single engine planes, attending Woodstock and teaching ballroom and ice dancing. However Bob’s favorite pastime was his involvement in the martial arts and the friends he made at the DoJo. Bob was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder. Bob was loved by all who knew him and he will truly be missed. A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 , in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
