Reggie Miller was born November 18, 1952 and passed away November 25, 2018. He was a 1970 graduate of Airport High School. He was in the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 421, having 45 years of Service with the United Association, retiring in 2014. Reggie was the middle son of Lewis and Tish. He was always ready with quick comeback. You always knew where you stood with Reggie, no guessing needed. He loved all things cars and racing and more than anything he loved his friends. His love of classic and hot rod cars, especially Ford’s couldn’t be matched. It’s because of that love Reggie would travel every year for the past 8 years so he could attend the annual Turkey Rod Run at the Daytona International Speedway and spend time with his United Association Brother’s from various locals. On his trips to Florida he was always the guest of Lisa and David who made him feel like part of their family. His birthday wish came true this year when Joey Logano won the NASCAR Championship. He enjoyed watching X-Files, Gunsmoke, Car Auctions, drag racing, and watching most any type car show. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Tish Miller. Survived by his son: Brian; his grandson Benton and granddaughter Madison; brothers Grover (Susan) and Alan (Elaine), and sister Angie; nieces and nephews; Natalie, Justin, Josh, and Caitlyn and several aunts and uncles. Reggie will be missed by his family and friends: David (Gator), Ricky, Billy, David, Buddy, Butch, Carl, Jimmy, Buddy, many many more too numerous to mention. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at New Heritage Church at 3109 Leaphart Rd., West Columbia, SC with Rev. Lynn Bryant officiating.
