Patricia Sox

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Patricia Sox, 84, of Gaston will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday January 16, 2021 at Celestial Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Sox passed away Monday January 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Lottie and Eli Ekovich and William Virgil “Red” and Areta Millwood.  Mrs. Sox was the widow of the late Jerry Z. Sox. She loved Alan Jackson, window shopping, Belk, getting her hair done on Fridays by Kim Phillips and enjoyed watching figure skaters, Michelle Kwan and Scott Hamilton. Mrs Sox was a graduate of Olympia High School.

Mrs. Sox is survived by her loving children, Pamela Ann (Roger) Burrows, Richard (Pam) Allen Sox, Edward Guy (Robin) Sox and Crystal (Jacob) Smith; grandchildren, Christen, Ashley, Amy, Jessi, Colleen, Hunter, Logan and Lauren; great grandchildren, Jake, Bekah, Gabe, Banks, Lexi, Sidney, Easton, Khloe, Sawyer, Alec, Madilyn, Wyatt and baby Crouch; brother, Mark Ekovich.
