Pamela A. Gladden

Pamela Allison (Whisnant) Gladden (55) passed away July 10,2020 after a long battle with cancer. It would be wrong to say Pam lost her battle because she never stopped fighting, no matter how sick she was she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Pam stayed strong. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Pam. Just because she is no longer here it doesn't mean she lost her fight.                     Pam is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Ray, children Allison Shumpert, Jonathan Gladden, 5 loving grandchildren Kaley, Peyton, Ethan, Madison, and Brayden, her mother Elaine (Paul) Lown, brother Randall (Suzanne) Whisnant and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Whisnant.

The family would like to thank Pam’s two very important support groups, Lexington Medical center Cancer support group and the Prisma health support group. We are very thankful for all of the physicians who have assisted us in Pam’s cancer journey.

The family invites you to join them for a memorial service Saturday July 18th at 11 AM at Andrew Chapel UMC in Swansea SC, a visitation will be held prior at 10 AM .
