Nellie Sightler

A service to celebrate the life of Nellie Ada O'Bryant Sightler, 79, of Gaston will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday June 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Gaston. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.

Mrs. Sightler passed away Saturday June 2, 2018. She was born in Pickens, SC and was the daughter of the late Emory and Essie O'Bryant. Mrs. Sightler was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Sightler is survived by her children, Terry (Angela) Sightler, Harold (Tina) Sightler, Michael (Chris) Sightler, Anthony "Rocky" (Debi) Sightler, William (Tommy) Sightler and Cynthia "Cindy" (Ronnie) Wise; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; siblings, Edna (Lonnie) Hall, Ella (Vernon) Eddleman, Lois (Doyle) Rackly, Viola (Allen) Eddleman, Ruth (Bill) Ray, Genell O'Bryant and Bill (Ruth) O'Bryant. Mrs. Sightler was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Thad, John, Leroy, Karl and Emory O'Bryant, Jr. and grandson, Ezekiel Zachariah Sightler.
