Nancy Baker Smith, age 75, of Gilbert, SC, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born June 24, 1948 in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, daughter of Charles and Evelyn Baker.

Predeceased by her brother Charles “Booty” Baker, Jr. and survived by one sister Mary Jo “Binky” Shumpert, one daughter, Christy Amanda Black and one son Donald Scott Black and his wife Jenni, and two grandsons, Jayce Oswald Black, and Jordan Scott Black and his wife Emily.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
