Mildred Ann Tidwell

WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Mildred Ann Hayes Tidwell, 75, of West Columbia, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Janurary 5th, 2022 in the Chapel of Moseley Funeral Service in West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Sherwood Tidwell. Burial will follow at Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday evening at Moseley Funeral Service in West Columbia. Mrs. Tidwell, beloved wife of the late Charles F. Tidwell, passed away on Friday, December 24th, 2021. Born in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Belva M. Hayes. She was a lifetime resident of the Columbia area, who loved God and life, and treasured her children and grandchildren. Surviving her are daughters, Charline Tidwell of West Columbia and Katie Bagnal of Lexington, a son, Charles Tidwell, Jr. of Red Bank, seven grandchildren, Timothy Breci, Christopher Johnson, Kevin Tidwell, Dylan Bagnal, Marie Tidwell, Crystal Tidwell, and Caleb Tidwell and a great-granddaughter, Athena Johnson. Also surviving is Marlene Gause of West Columbia, Terry Caughman of Columbia, sisters Frances Wright, Shirley Wiley, Esther Kodash, and Mary Hayes and brothers, Olin Hayes, James Hayes, and George Hayes. She is preceded by her husband, Charles F. Tidwell, a daughter, Beverly "Suzzie" Breci, a grandson, Thomas Breci, as well as a sister, Sandra Blythe, and a brother, Clifton Hayes.
