Mike Shaffer

Mike Shaffer entered his Eternal and Heavenly Home on Feb14, 2021.. Mike was a career paramedic and served in the United States Navy. During his career, Mike worked at both Lexington and Richland County Emergency Medical Services as well as SCDHEC EMS and Savannah River Site EMS.

Mike  was the son of the late Mary Evelyn Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Latimer Shaffer; daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Chris Walker, son and daughter-in-law Tristan and Kelly Shaffer, grandchildren Andrew Deen, Drew Walker, Sophia Shaffer, Harrison Walker, and Charlotte Walker; sister, Nancy (Bill Leaphart) Holterback, and brother Sam (Clarice) Anderson.

Graveside services will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Monday Feb. 22 at 1 PM .

For those who wish to make a memorial gift the family suggests Edwards Memorial ARP Church in Cayce or Lake Murray Presbyterian Church in Chapin.
