Mike Day

A service to celebrate the life of Michael “Mike” Thomas Day, 49, of Irmo will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday December 1, 2018 at Brookland United Methodist Church, 541 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 with Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mike passed away Monday November 26, 2018. He was born in Columbia and was the son of Henry Thomas Day and the late Linda Hinson Day. Mike was a diehard Clemson fan, enjoyed watching football with friends and making trips to the mountains and the beach. He was a longtime employee of Telcom.
Mike is survived by loving and cherished daughter, Heather Day; father, Henry Day; sister, Lisa (Cliff) Spangler; fiancé, Stephanie Liscusky; nieces and nephew, Lyndsey, Peyton and Cam Spangler and Joey his four legged companion. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hinson Day.
