Melvin Edward Jones, II, 43, son of Melvin Jones Sr. and Sharon Jones, went home to be with his Lord on December 28, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Springdale Baptist Church, officiated by Tony Gordon and Tommy McGill. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A private burial will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with honors. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Manifestation Church Building Fund.
