Mary Smith Moose, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 25, 2019. Born in Honea Path, SC on May 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Smith and Addie Nobles.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dean Hatfield.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Brenda Barber (Virgil); grandsons, Harry R. Knight, III, Larry Richard Knight (Nancy), Jason Davis Knight and Dean Hatfield Mathias; great grandchildren, Jennifer, Leslie, Amber, Brayden, and Christian Knight; beloved sister, Marian Risinger; and nephews Ray and Tommy Risinger.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Central Church of The Nazarene, 100 S Woodside Pkwy, West Columbia, SC 29169 . Entombment will immediately follow the service at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212 . The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church.
