Mary A. “Gummy” Wigley

Mary Agnes Wigley, 87, of West Columbia, SC passed away on March 9, 2022. Mary was born in Haleyville, Alabama to the late Elmer Lee Hooker and Minnie Alva Humphries Hooker. Mary is best remembered for being an avid bingo player, love for shopping, and for her love of The Atlanta Braves, and Alabama football. Mary was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mary was preceded in death by Milford Leon Harmon, Son; Kenneth David Colburn Jr, Brothers; Bill Hooker, Jack Hooker , Sister; Dot Baker. Surviving are her daughter Patricia Carol Colburn; granddaughter, Crystal Pound(Noel); grandson JC Colburn; great grandchildren; Carsyn Pound and Ashby Pound, brother Robert Hooker; sisters, Brenda Bates, Marie Mason, and Jean Nichols. Mary also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service is to be held at 11:00 am Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
