Luther "Marc" Martin Walters

Luther Martin (Marc) Walters, age 63, of Cayce, South Carolina, passed away April 9, 2019 at his home. He was born January 6, 1956 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late William D. Walters and Rosa Lee Bryson Walters.

He worked as a security officer for various companies during his career years.

He was a member of State Street Baptist Church and the ABC Sunday School class for many years.

He is survived by one sister, Susan (Michael) Lehr of Rolla, Missouri, three brothers, Heyward Walters of West Columbia, South Carolina, Kenneth (Linda) Walters of West Columbia, South Carolina, Evie T. (Yung Hui) Walters of Crestview, Florida, half sister, Dorothy Parker of Laurel Hill, North Carolina, Carolyn Walters of North Carolina, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel A. Walters, half brother, Henry Bryson, and half sister, Helen Norris.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 10:00am at State Street Baptist Church in Cayce, South Carolina. A Memorial service, officiated by Pastor, Dr. Chet Andrews, will follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at State Street Baptist Church, 1420 State Street, Cayce, South Carolina 29033
