Loretta Lever Davison, West Columbia, SC. A graveside service for Loretta Lever Davison will be held at 11am Tuesday April 1, 2025 in the First Presbyterian Churchyard, 1324 Marion St., Columbia, SC Moseley Funeral and Cremation Service of West Columbia is assisting the family. Mrs. Davison passed away on March 11, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC on November 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Fletcher Lever and Naomi Summers Lever. She graduated from Dreher High School and attended the University of SC. She retired with 28 years of service from SC Farm Bureau as a Desktop Specialist. Loretta was a charter member of Providence Presbyterian Church and in the early years of the church she was the pianist and organist. She taught Sunday School for many years, and also served in various areas of the Women of the Church. Surviving are her two sons, James David (Anna) Davison of Walhalla, SC and Brian Keith Davison of West Columbia, SC; two sisters, Betty (John) O’Brien of Lexington, SC and Sandra Eldering of Columbia, SC; granddaughter, Lauren (Jesse) Davison; grandson, Zachary Davison; great grandsons, Jacob, Seth, and Eli Ellison; nephews, Dickson (Tina) O’Brien and Chad (Autumn) O’Brien; and niece, Heather Eldering. Loretta was predeceased by her husband, George Roland Davison. Memorials may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church 1112 Hummingbird Dr., West Columbia, SC 29169.
