Was the Daughter of James V. Helms Jr. and Lessie M. Glover Helms of Gaston SC. Linda is survived by Sister Edith Arant of Irmo SC (Brother in law Athan Arant), Brother James Laverne Helms of Swansea SC (Sister in law Teresa Helms) (Sister in Law Janice Helms). Preceded in Death David Helms. Linda is also survived by Husband Daniel P. Thombs of Gaston SC, Son Joseph F. Tis of West Grove PA, and Son Christopher D. Thombs of Lexington SC and Daughters Kara Tis of West Grove PA and Grace Thombs of Lexington SC, (Sister in law Dawn Fuller) and Granddaughter Charleston P. Tis of West Grove PA.
