Linda W. Blackwell

Linda M. Blackwell was deceased on January 22, 2022. She was born in Columbia and lived all her life in Cayce, S.C. She was born to Wilson Mungo and Carolyn Smith Mungo,  who all predeceased her. She was survived by her sister, Margaret Wilson(Willard), nephews, Chuck and Eric Wilson(Richelle), grand nephews, Jack and Sammy of Charleston.. She was also survived by her stepdaughter, Donna Watson, step grands, Abby, Hannah and Nick. And another step son, Lee(Emily) of Tennessee. She graduated Airport High School and worked as a teller at Banker's Trust in West Columbia. She became a homemaker for years and prepared meals for the church and various organizations of the First Baptist Church Cayce and Mill City Church. She also voluntarily prepared meals for the Cayce Police Department and Cayce Fire Department. We wish to thank the departments coming to their aid when they needed it. Thank you for your great service to the community. Linda recently went back to work part time at Hobby Lobby as a sales clerk. She had to retire because of ill health. Linda has assisted and taught various organizations in the church. She was a member of GAs. and Girls in Action and received the highest award for Queen Regent in Service. And taught Team Kid for a while. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."  Psalm 23:4
