Kyler Alan Lucas

A service to celebrate the life of Kyler Alan Lucas, 12, of Lexington will be healed at 2 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at Lexington Church of God officiated by Bishop Mark Crumpton. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Kyler passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. He was the son of Thomas Clinton Lucas and Christian Maxine Thomas Huntley. He loved collecting trinkets and treasures and having family movie night with popcorn. He loved to play football, basketball, baseball and playing video games with his brothers and board games with his sister Katie. He also loved reading, drawing, climbing trees and building fun stuff from everything he could find. He enjoyed chorus and dance classes were his favorite subjects in school. Kyler is survived by his father Thomas C. Lucas; mother, Christian M Huntley; stepmother Michelle R. Lucas; stepfather, Charles R. Huntley; brother, Ethan R. Lucas; sisters, Kaitlyn M. Lucas and Adalynn G Huntley; Stepbrothers Andrew S. Winslow and Brandon R. Winslow; grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Lucas-Engwall. He was preceded in death by grandparents,  Noah C. Lucas, Sr., Jene Purdie and Rodney “Rod” Clifton.
