Kimberlee Jo Shealy Roach
July 8, 1965 – November 18, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberlee Jo Shealy Roach, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend who entered eternal rest on November 18, 2024, at the age of 59.
Born on July 8, 1965, Kimberlee grew up with a profound sense of compassion, resilience, and dedication that she carried into every role in her life. She was a cornerstone of her family and community, known for her deep faith, loving heart, and unwavering commitment to others.
Kimberlee began her remarkable 38-year career in the insurance industry shortly after graduating high school. Her work ethic was matched only by her devotion to her family. She selflessly raised two sons, William and Aaron, while making significant sacrifices to ensure they had opportunities to pursue their interests and dreams.
Kimberlee found joy in life’s simple yet profound pleasures: fishing, spending time outdoors, and supporting the arts, particularly music. She was deeply involved in her church, where she sang in the choir and exemplified her strong faith, even in the face of life’s challenges. Her intentional and caring spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Kimberlee is survived by her loving family, including her sons, William David Roach (Bailey BriAnne) and Aaron Marsh Roach (Hunter Willis); her cherished grandchildren, William Wayne Roach, Roy Marvin Roach, Anderson Aaron Roach, and Charlee Anne Roach; her mother, Betty Jo Anderson; and her siblings, Melody Hughes (Bill), Starr Haas (Randy), David Daniel Shealy Jr. (Karen), Phil Shealy (Linda), and Claire New (Richard).
She is reunited in heaven with her late husband, William Marsh Roach; her father, David Daniel Shealy Sr.; her stepfather, Joe Anderson; her siblings, Echo Shealy, Joseph Anderson, Gary Anderson, and Scott Anderson; and other beloved family members who preceded her in passing.
Kimberlee’s legacy of love, strength, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, resting in the arms of her Savior.
A celebration of Kimberlee’s life will be held at Spring Valley Baptist Church, located at 91 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC 29223, on Monday, November 25, 2024. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 3:00 PM.
