Juanita A. Rosenstein passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. She was born September 4, 1939 in Columbia, SC to the late George N. Timmons and Ollie Mae Baker Timmons. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great grandma, best friend, and unofficial mom and grandma to many.
Juanita was a graduate of Olympia High School, and held several positions in her working career. Some of the things she enjoyed were spending time with family/friends, playing bingo, and watching various game shows.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Rosenstein, son, John K. Greene Jr., brothers and sisters in law, Richard and Betty Timmons, Sandra and Tommy Taylor, Marleen and James Boulware. Also, brother, Buddy Timmons, sister, Edna Lemus, brother in law, Doug Richardson Sr., along with three nephews, Doug Richardson Jr., George Taylor, and Ricky Taylor.
Juanita is survived by her sister, Diane Richardson, loving daughter, Peggy Spires, grandson, Tucker Spires, grandson, Ryan Spires (Kaylie), grand daughter, Shyan Spires (Aleciah Jones), and great grandaughter, Chelsea Spires. Surviving nieces include, Bobbie Dube (Lisa King), Tonia Knight, Debbie Taylor, Adalynn Timmons, Alex Rodriguez, Brianna Rodriguez, Michelle Rodriguez (Valentine), and nephews, Scott Timmons (Leigh Anne), and Jacob Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being made by Moseley Funeral Home.
