Johnny “Ray” Prater, 57, of West Columbia died January 18, 2021. He was the son of Mary Prater and the late Harold Prater. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church. He was employed at RSI of Columbia where he was loved.Mr. Prater was survived by his brothers, Harold L. Prater (Karen) and D. Wayne Prater (Tracy); 3 nieces and 1 nephew; 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Also a best friend that he adored along with her son.Mr. Prater was a beloved son, uncle, and friend. He loved to joke around and aggravate the ones he loved.A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, February 1, 2021 .Active Pallbearers will be Tim Seek, Matt Seek, Damon Prater, Chase Seek, Gage Jones, and Erik Seek
