John Scott Rambach

John Scott Rambach, 93, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. He was born May 8, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Raymond and Mary Rambach. Scott is predeceased by Diane Rambach, his wife of 41 years. He is survived by his son, Robert Whitney Rambach, and his grandson, Bryce Rambach.

Scott earned his bachelor's degree and played baseball at Dartmouth University (‘54), and he earned an MBA from Cornell University (‘58). He became a career banker and managed several branches in California, Oregon, and Washington.

A Boston native, Scott was a lifelong Red Sox fan. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and neighbors.
