A Celebration of Life for John P. Miconi, Jr., of West Columbia, will be held at 3pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Life Springs Worship Center, 5630 Platt Springs Rd, Lexington, SC 29073. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2:45pm prior to the Celebration of Life at 3pm. Burial will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Mr. Miconi passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 57. Born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 31, 1957 he was the son of John P. Miconi, Sr. and Barbara Jean Myers. John was known as the "man in black". He cherished his family, loved Dallas Cowboys Football and "Selling Cars like Candy Bars" at Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia.
He is survived by his wife, Ciji Corder-Miconi; children, Paul Michael (Tatinesha) Miconi, Elizabeth (Sissy) Marie Miconi and Bella (JuJu) AnnMarie Miconi; mother and step-father, Barbara Jean and Donald Myers; siblings, Emilio Miconi, Cathy Berry, Linda Miconi, Barbi (Gary) Roithner, and Lisa (Pat) Smallwood; in-laws, Lisa and Stan Koon, and Billy and Trudi Corder; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his father.
